Luke started his apprenticeship at 17, straight out of school, working alongside his father in the family building business. He spent the next 15 years building custom homes across Brisbane before moving into renovations and earning his builder’s license through the QBCC.
In 2024, Luke founded Heuser Homes to honour his father’s legacy and carry forward the same standards he was taught from day one: doing things properly, staying close to the work and knowing that a builder’s word is everything. He’s the only person clients deal with, on-site and off, from first conversation to the final walkthrough.
Luke holds a Certificate III in Carpentry, a Certificate IV in Construction, a Low Rise Builder’s License and is a member of Master Builders Queensland
Luke remains personally involved from the first conversation through to handover, keeping communication direct, decisions clear and responsibility with the person actually leading the build.

Luke has spent 21 years in residential construction, including 15 years predominantly building custom homes and the past five years focused largely on renovations.
When site changes happen, Luke walks you through the numbers in person so you’re on top of every variation. No surprises, no hidden extras.
